Patients are to arrive 20 minutes prior to their scheduled appointments with their requisition and a
Valid Health Card.
Everyone is required to continue to wear a mask or face covering when entering the Clinic.
If not covered by OHIP, patients are required to pay at the time of registration. They can fill out a reimbursement form and they can submit it to their insurance for reimbursement.
If you require to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please, leave us a voicemail at (613) 824-3252, or e-mail [email protected], prior to your appointment or you may be charged a $75 fee for the missed appointment. The fee must be paid at the time of registration of your scheduled appointment. Your appointment may get rescheduled or cancelled if the fee is not paid.

No eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum for 8 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Diabetic Patients are allowed one plain dry toast, with nothing on it and some water. If medication is mandatory in the morning, drink enough water to take with the medication.

Bring a list of your medications (name of medication and dosage) to your appointment. Do not take calcium supplements, bone medication (osteoporosis) or multivitamins for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Do not wear clothing with metal zippers or any metal attachments. *If you have had Bone Density previously done at another location within Ontario, other than CDN, please have your previous digital reports faxed to CDN at (613) 824-6633 or bring them with you to your appointment.

Wear comfortable and loose- fitting clothes that doesn't have buttons, zippers, or any metal clasps.
Leave all jewelry and valuables at home.
Do not take multivitamins, calcium supplements, 24 prior to exam. Please ensure that this appointment is not scheduled within 10 days after a Barium study or within 7 days after a Nuclear Medicine/X-Ray Dye study. If it is, please contact the clinic to reschedule your appointment.
